The Evil Eye serves as a protective talisman against negative forces, as well as to bring about good luck, fortune, and positive energy to its wearer.
Each Evil Eye pendant is individually handmade using the time-honored lost wax casting technique. This intricate process begins with a wax model that is sculpted, capturing every delicate detail. The wax sculpture is then encased in plaster, which is carefully prepared to withstand the heat of the molten metal. As the wax melts away, a hollow cavity is left behind, ready to receive the flowing liquid metal. The metal is then poured with utmost precision, ensuring that the essence of the pendant is perfectly preserved.
The pendant is approximately 12mm x 15mm and hangs gracefully from a 45cm 22k gold vermeil chain, creating a harmonious balance between elegance and symbolism.
