CLADDAGH Ring - Moissanite & White Sapphires
CLADDAGH Ring - Moissanite & White Sapphires
The Claddagh design is steeped in Irish tradition, dating back to the 17th century. The Claddagh is a symbol of friendship, love and loyalty, represented by two hands holding a heart, with a crown resting atop the heart. The heart represents love, the crown represents loyalty, and the hands represent friendship.
When worn on the left ring finger with the heart pointing towards the heart, it is said to signify that the wearer's heart is taken and that they are in a committed relationship. When worn on the right ring finger with the heart pointing away from the heart, it is said to signify that the wearer is single and looking for love.
The Claddagh ring is often given as a gift to mark significant occasions such as weddings, engagements, or anniversaries. This particular ring was originally designed as an engagement ring, featuring a fiery 4mm moissanite at its center, flanked and crowned by brilliant 1.5mm white lab sapphires.
Moissanite is a lab-created gemstone that rivals diamonds in brilliance and fire. Lab sapphires are also grown in a laboratory instead of being mined from the earth. They are made using advanced technology that replicates the natural process of sapphire formation, resulting in gemstones that have the same physical, chemical, and optical properties as natural sapphires. Both are an ethical and sustainable alternative to diamonds, making them an excellent choice for conscious consumers.
This ring can be custom made with alternative stones - feel free to reach out if you would like to discuss a custom option.
