It is said that ADONIS had won both the hearts of Aphrodite and Persephone, both wanting to keep him for themselves. It was therefore decreed by Zeus that Adonis would spend a third of the year with Aphrodite, a third with Persephone, and a third with whomever he choses. Adonis chose Aphrodite, and they remained constantly by each other's side.
The ADONIS Signet Ring features a larger 3mm Australian Sapphire on the signet face, representing the preferred time Adonis spends with his beloved Aphrodite, and a smaller 1.5mm Madagascan Sapphire on the signet top, which represents the time he spends with Persephone.
